JOHNS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) -

Authorities have released video of two men wearing "Scream" Halloween masks robbing a Subway on Johns Island Friday night.

At 9 p.m., the Charleston County Sheriff's Office responded to the Subway at 3750 Savannah Hwy in reference to an armed robbery.

When deputies arrived, they were told that two masked males entered the restaurant and demanded money.

Employees told investigators that one of the suspects had a monster Halloween mask on and was carrying a shotgun. An incident report states the suspects stole two of the cash registers and took off.

Authorities say the suspects fled the location on foot headed towards Bees Ferry Road. Charleston police responded with a K-9 Unit who tracked a trail towards Bees Ferry Road where the track ended.

Both suspects are described as black males with one being 6-foot tall and the other 5'3". Officers say both were wearing "Scream" type Halloween masks, black hoodies and white tennis shoes.

Detectives continue to investigate the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Charleston County Sheriff's Office at 843-202-1700 or Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.
