City announces closure of part of East Broad Av.

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

City Engineer Bruce Maples says that there will be a temporary closure of East Broad Avenue from S. Carroll Street to Nona Drive, starting Monday November 4th at 9:00 A.M.

Crews will begin replacing transmission power poles for MEAG Power on E. Broad Avenue.

For safety, E. Broad Avenue will be closed between S. Carroll Street and Nona Drive from 9:00 A.M. until 4:00 P.M. from November 4th until November 7th and again from November 11th until November 14th.

Detour signage will be installed to aid the traveling public.

Motorists are advised to use caution, reduce speed and be alert of changing traffic conditions in the area.
