Port Allen pumpkin contest reveals top winners

Despicable Me and his Minions win 1st place. Despicable Me and his Minions win 1st place.
Monsters Inc. wins 2nd place. Monsters Inc. wins 2nd place.
Chicken pumpkin with eggs made by each student won 3rd place. Chicken pumpkin with eggs made by each student won 3rd place.
PORT ALLEN, LA (WAFB) -

A pumpkin contest was held at Holy Family in Port Allen. There were 18 pumpkins entered this year from kindergarten all the way up to 8th grade.

WAFB reporter Kiran Chawla served as the judge.

Cat in the Hat, Mike the Tiger, The Elf on the Shelf, Snoopy, and many more made special appearances in the forms of pumpkins, of course.

The winners for 1st place went to Despicable Me and his Minions, 2nd place was Monsters, Inc., and 3rd place was a Chicken pumpkin with every student designing their own egg.
