JACKSON, MS (Mississippi News Now) -

Jackson Police have arrested 31-year-old Javondus Beasley and charged him with the murders of the three people found at 175 Moon Street. An additional murder charge is pending on fourth murder.

JPD announced the arrests at a morning news conference.

Police found evidence implicating Beasley at the murder scene, and he was arrested shortly after midnight.

Around 11 a.m. Thursday, a woman discovered three bodies at 175 Moon Street. All three had a single gunshot wound to the head. They have been identified as 29-year-old Eldra Gibson, 25-year-old Sherrod Brown, and 22-year-old Ashley Taylor.

About three hours later, the body of 51-year-old Mike Wilson was discovered at 171 Moon Street, next door to the first murder scene. He had been stabbed multiple times.

Family and friends emotions went from grief, to anger towards investigators.

Neighbor Billy Thompson says, "We asked them to go down there and check my cousin house because they normally are out late and the police told us to back up and let them do their job.  Evidently they didn't do their job because there was a fourth body."

Earlier Thursday, Assistant Chief Lee Vance says, "The only thing we got was one individual tell us they heard a car possibly speeding away from the scene around 11 last night."

Police say the house at 175 Moon Street was ransacked, as though someone was looking for something.
