Weather causes some Halloween events to be rescheduled

The chance of severe storms on Halloween has caused a few cancellations, and some events are being rescheduled. If you're looking for a dry place tonight, Belhaven University is hosting a Trunk or Treat in thee parking garage from 5-7 p.m. 

  • Marblehead subdivision out on the reservoir Friday
  • Red Oak Plantation subdivision in Gluckstadt, 6-8 p.m. Friday
  • Legacy Subdivision in east Brandon Friday
  • Patrick Farms Friday
  • Ambiance Subdivision, 6-8 p.m. Friday
  • Cornerstone Friday
  • Flowood Kid's Night Out will be moved to Friday in the event of inclement weather.
  • In the event of inclement weather, Ashbrooke subdivision will trick or treat Friday night.
  • Madison - Wellington subdivision
  • Ashbrook subdivision in Madison will Trick or Treat Friday instead of Thursday.
  • Madison will recognize Thursday as the official night for trick or treating but will leave the decision of when a subdivision holds its trick to treat time to the individual homeowner association. You should contact your association for any change in date.
  • Utica will move Trick or Treat to Friday night, if it's still raining at 5 p.m. Thursday.
  • In Clinton, The Haunting of Olde Town has been canceled. If it is raining Thursday night, Trick or Treating WILL be moved to Friday night. If it is raining Friday, Trick or treating will be held Saturday.

    Dozens of animals in Southwest Georgia are curled up in new homes tonight.  That's thanks to PetSmart's National Adoption Weekend. Saturday three different Humane Societies from South Georgia brought pets looking for new homes to the Albany PetSmart.
