BOAZ, AL (WAFF) -

An elderly Boaz man is suspected of sexually abusing as many as eight young girls.

72-year-old Jimmy Maurice Kilpatrick is now facing four counts of sex abuse of a child less than twelve, and one count of first-degree sodomy.

Boaz Police said he started sexually abusing the girls as far back as 2008. The victims are now between eight and 15 years old.

Kilpatrick is being held in the Marshall County Jail on a $1 million bond.

The case is still under investigation.
