Aiken man dies in Barnwell County crash

BARNWELL COUNTY, SC (WFXG) -

An Aiken man died in a single-vehicle crash Monday morning in Barnwell County.

Daniel D. Ramseur, 26, was driving south on Highway 125 inside the limits of the Savannah River Site around 7:30 a.m., according to the Barnwell County Coroner's Office. Ramseur lost control of his car and hit a power pole.

The car flipped and landed on its roof, according to the coroner. Ramseur was wearing a seatbelt but was pronounced dead at the scene.

Toxicology tests will be performed, according to the coroner's office. The S.C. Highway Patrol and the Barnwell County Coroner's Office are investigating the crash.
