    The rate increased because of seasonal factors, such as the summer job loss among non-contract school workers and temporary layoffs, primarily in manufacturing. There were 60,500 jobs in Albany in June, down by 300, or 0.5 percent, from 60,800 in May. Most of the loss came in state government and the service-related industries.More >>
COLQUITT COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

Georgia State Patrol has released the names of the people involved in a deadly early morning crash in Colquitt County Monday.
 
Troopers say 45 year old Maria Buena-Rafael was driving a Ford Explorer west on Sardis Church Road when she crossed the center line, hitting a 1995 Acura head on around 7 a.m.

25 year old Rosa Maria Cervantes who was driving the Acura was pronounced dead at the scene.  Her two children who were in the car we taken to area hospitals.

Her 9 year old son, Miguel Quich, was airlifted to a Tallahassee hospital. Her 2 month old little girl, Daesha Depaz, was taken by ambulance to Colquitt Regional Medical Center and was treated and released. Buena-Rafael was flown to a Thomasville hospital.

"Charges will be pending any kind of blood test. No alcohol at this time was suspected. Right now it's under investigation by the Specialized Reconstruction Collision Team," said Senior Trooper William Cope with the Georgia State Patrol.

There is no word on what caused the crash.
