Spring Hill police search for armed robber

SPRING HILL, TN (WSMV) -

Police in Spring Hill are searching for the suspect responsible for robbing a tobacco store Sunday evening.

Police say the male suspect entered the Discount Tobacco & Beer store located at 408 McLemore Ave. around 7:30 p.m.

According to police, the subject displayed a handgun and demanded money.

Police describe the suspect as 5'8" with a medium build.

They say a mask covered the suspect's face which was grey to black in color.

Police say the suspect was wearing an all black jersey, black pants and black combat style boots.

Police believe the suspect left the store on foot.
