ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Sunday's weather was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying some music.

Many Albany residents did just that during a free event downtown. The festivities featured the Bo Henry Band, and the Jodi Mama Band.

Dozens of people brought their blankets and chairs and relaxed by the river.

"Its just a way to give back to the community and give people something to do on a Sunday that showcases what Albany is all about," says volunteer Tommy Gregors.

Donations were accepted to benefit the non-profit group Mission Change.
