South Georgians spooked at haunted house and maze

Folks got spooked at a haunted forest Friday night. You can walk or take a hay ride through Council Farms on Fleming Road. It also includes a haunted house and maze. Organizers say it's a lot of fun with just the right amount of scariness.

"A lot of family fun, everybody loves to be scared during Halloween, we've been doing this going on twenty years now, we have a lot of volunteers, it takes about 40 people to run it," said Capp Council, haunted forest operator.

The haunted forest opens each night through Halloween at 8 PM. Tickets are $7 for the walk through, $5 for the hay ride, and $10 for a combo ticket. Proceeds go to Baconton Charter School's academic bowl team.
