ASU bids adieu to President Freeman

The Albany State University family will honor the accomplishments of the institution's eighth president during a farewell celebration at 4:00 p.m. in L. Orene Hall located on the campus.

Freeman announced his departure on Oct. 16 to accept a new position as President of the Community College of Denver in Denver, Colorado. His last day at ASU is Oct. 31, and his first day on the job out west begins Nov. 1.
