FLORENCE, AL (WAFF) -

A Shoals woman pleaded guilty to various charges including fraud and animal cruelty Monday.

Shirley Weeks pleaded guilty to charges of theft of property and fraudulent use of a credit card.

Weeks stole more than $30,000 from the Cloverdale Fire Department. As part of her plea deal, officials said Weeks will have to pay restitution. She will be sentenced on Dec. 4 and will also have a restitution hearing following sentencing.

Weeks also pleaded guilty to animal cruelty charges and was sentenced to a 6-month split sentence on those charges.

She is out on bond.
