SYLVESTER, GA (WALB) -

A county meeting has been called for Friday, November 1st in an effort to recall Worth County commission chairman Mike Cosby.

Opposition for Cosby's tenure increased when County Attorney Judge Clarence Miller resigned just under a month ago. Cash fears that the position will never be filled under Cosby's term.

 

"No attorney with a sharp legal mind, I don't care if he is fresh out of school is going to take that job knowing why Judge Miller resigned," Cash said. "Mr. Cosby has violated the rules so many times, something had to be done. It's a mess."

Cosby has been asked to resign but has no intentions on doing so.
