Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair begins Monday afternoon

STATESBORO, GA (WTOC) -

 The Kiwanis Ogeechee Fair starts in Statesboro Monday and runs through Friday, 0ct. 25.

Gates open at 6 p.m. and admission is $5, but patrons can receive a $2 discount today if they donate canned goods for the Statesboro Food Bank.

The fair is at the Kiwanis Ogeechee Fairgrounds on Fair Road and Georgia Route 67 South.

Several streets in Statesboro along North and South Main Street from Northside Drive to Fair Road between 4:30-6 p.m. will be closed Monday for the annual Fair Parade.

    Despite the scattered showers, we saw Saturday some people just couldn't resist hitting the water. In the morning, the Kinchafoonee Creek was at a good water level for boaters.
