50th Annual Peanut Festival

WORTH CO., GA (WALB) -

Hundreds of people were in Sylvestor today for the 50th Annual Peanut Festival. It's one of the biggest events of the year for the town. Families enjoyed lots of free activities for the kids. There was sea lions, and even a zip line.

There were also dozens of vendors from all over South Georgia. We talked with one who was at the festival for the first time.

"I think it was fabulous. I was really surprised. It was big, it was fun. The food smelled great. It was very exciting and next time I hope to come down with somebody so I can enjoy a little bit of it myself," says Alexis Brady, a vendor at the festival.

The festivities wrapped up with a free concert.
