Georgia State Troopers are investigating a fatal crash that killed a 20-year-old man and severely injured a woman.
The crash happened Saturday just before 3 a.m. in Newton County on Georgia 212 near Oak Hill Road.
Troopers said Tucker Hankins, 20, of Covington hit a curve and crashed into a tree while driving a 2005 Chevrolet Impala.
According to police, Jessica Sarti, 20, was partially ejected from the Impala and taken to Atlanta Medical Center.
Investigators said they are waiting for blood tests, but speed, drugs and alcohol appear to be factors into the crash.
