ASU parade strolls through downtown Albany

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

The "Ram Reunion" celebration continued Saturday morning with the Albany State University homecoming parade.

The Albany State University homecoming parade filled the streets of downtown Albany.

Crowds filled both sides of the streets. The Mayor of Albany, high school bands, and other supporters rode in the parade. Visitors at the parade say they enjoy seeing everyone come together.

"This is my fifth year coming I'm not from Albany, but I come with my friend cause she is an Alumni of Albany State and I love it," said Andrea Pollard, visiting from Atlanta.

The parade lasted almost two hours. After the parade, the homecoming football game against Morehouse College kickoff at 2 p.m. ASU won the game with a final score of 42-20.
