Alpharetta police seek help in search for suspect

ALPHARETTA, GA (CBS46) -

Alpharetta police are asking for your help in identifying a suspect they say is breaking into cars.

Authorities said the man was last seen wearing a dark blue long-sleeved shirt, black pants and a black hat.

Police said he was seen driving a mid-sized silver, 4-door Nissan Altima.

The suspect broke into a car in Alpharetta in September, and also attempted to use a number of stolen credit cards, according to the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety.

Authorities said he committed similar offenses in Cobb County and Johns Creek.

    An Albany couple is receiving praise for bringing life to their plantation through nature. Keep Albany Dougherty Beautiful and the Albany Tree Board presented Kay and Walter Strom with the 2017 Tree Stewardship Award on Monday.
