MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

Moultrie Police have charged a second person in the robbery of man two weeks ago.

Police have charged Derrick Lamont Smith, 27, with armed robbery and battery.

Investigators say Smith demanded money from Sammy Phillips on sixth avenue.

A second suspect, Tony Larenzo Stamper, 25, has now been charged with aggravated battery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Police say Stamper, who was already charged with armed robbery, is facing the new charges due to the facial fractures Phillips suffered during the robbery.
