ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

You can now cast your ballots in next month's municipal elections. Early voting started today and runs through Friday November 1st. In Albany, you can vote downtown at the government center.

There are contested city commission races in wards two and three.People who plan to early vote just need to bring a valid form of picture I-D.

"We look forward to those who are maybe still making up their mind, coming out and casting that early ballet or if not they can always vote  at their precinct on election day November the 5th," says Ginger Nickerson, Elections Supervisor.

If you miss out on early voting, you can still cast your ballot on election day, November the 5th at your precinct.
