ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

People are getting their pumpkins ready for Halloween.

Several thousand pumpkins are set up at Mark's Melon Patch. Families got to take hay rides and eat homemade ice cream while picking out that perfect pumpkin. There are pumpkins in all sizes and colors. Visitors say they're excited about the fall season.

"Well if they have no stem, then I would have to go with a round one," said Sara Parker.

"Just passing through from LaGrange, Georgia and I happen to see these lovely pumpkins out here, so I said baby why don't we stop and look around," said Scentry Dorsey.

The hay rides will take place for the next two weekends from Noon-6 p.m. People can pick up a pumpkin from Mark's Melon Patch any day between 8 am and 7pm.
