ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany haunted house is getting ready to terrify some residents as the spookiest time of year approaches.

Friday, the Fright Night's Haunted House will open, offering bone chilling experiences for those ready to face demons and monsters.

40-50 actors are standing by to scare the bravest residents seeking a Halloween thrill.  Visitors will travel through all original scenes, ranging from crazy clowns, to ghosts and even demonic children.  Every detail has been planned to offer some safe holiday fun.

"Every year opening night is the one we look forward to the most.  And we enjoy doing this so much and work so hard throughout the season for this night.  This is a haunted house person's Christmas today," said Tim Thompson, Event Organizer.

The maze will be in the Former Harley Davidson dealership for the first time, but has lots of trap doors for plenty of scares.

Thompson said the house was built in the old Circuit City building the previous four years, but said he's excited about the new space.

Tickets will go on sale at 7pm, and will be sold until 11pm.  And all the actors will stay here until the last person goes through the maze, even if into the early morning hours.

Thompson said they're expecting between 7,000 – 8,000 visitors this year.

Tickets are $7 for opening weekend, but will be $9 every other weekend in October and on Halloween night.

All proceeds made from the haunted house will go the Albany Museum of Arts for children's programs and to keep admission free for visitors.
