ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Top leaders at a few Dougherty County schools are making some big moves in a shakeup this week.

Officials tell WALB the Principal at Albany Middle School Brandy Barrett will now be the Assistant Principal at Sherwood Acres Elementary.

Principal Eddie Johnson and Assistant Principal Christine Ford at Sherwood are moving to Albany Middle School.

Meanwhile, Brent Fowler, the Assistant Principal at Lincoln will move to Sherwood Acres as Interim Principal.

Dr. David Mosely made the announcement Friday. He said the decision was made as a continuation in his work to "find the right people" for success at schools in the district.

WALB will have more on this later today.
