WALB's Most Wanted: Kalvin Harper & Ocilla store robber

MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

Moultrie police are looking for a man wanted on a probation violation, but they want to talk him about a more serious crime.

Take a look at 25 year old Kalvin Harper. He is from Moultrie. While he is sought on a probation warrant, detectives want to question him about a recent violent armed robbery.

This week we told you about a hold up last week on 6th Avenue southeast where 53 year old Sammy Phillips was hit multiple times with fists and a pistol by the robbers.

On Wednesday police arrested Tony Stamper in connection with that crime. He's charged with armed robbery.

Police are trying to locate Harper to question him about that crime. He's 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

Also on Most Wanted...Police in Ocilla are still looking for a man who robbed a convenience store this week.

Surveillance cameras at the Citgo on Highway 129 captured the frightening moments Monday night when a robber pointed a gun at the clerks head. The clerk is okay but the robber took off with cash.

If you know who that man is call Ocilla Police at 229-468-TIPS.

And if you know anything about the whereabouts of Kalvin Harper, call Moultrie Police. Their number is 229-890-5500.

Tonight the Ocilla store robber and Kalvin Harper becomes two of WALB's most wanted.
