AUBURN, AL (WSFA) -

Auburn University fans attending Saturday's Homecoming game will be allowed on the field at Jordan-Hare Stadium after the game, the university announced Wednesday.

Director of Athletics Jay Jacobs says the Southeastern Conference granted the university a waiver allowing this opportunity for the fans.

About 15 minutes after the game, once the field is cleared of players and coaches, fans will be allowed on the field for 45 minutes.

Fans are asked to listen to directions from the stadium announcer and security personnel and access the field through field gates at Sections 1, 11, 15, 20, 24 and 34.

Saturday's game against Western Carolina will kick off at 1 p.m. The game will be available on pay-per-view.
