ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Monday is the last day to register to vote in the November 5th municipal elections.

If you didn't make it by your local elections office in time, you can still register to vote online or mail in your registration, as long as it's postmarked by midnight.

In Albany there are city commission races in Wards two and three. Ward Five is uncontested.

"Its on a smaller range of course because the mayor is not running this year. So you have the three wards and with the municipal law being that if the incumbent qualifies and no one qualifies to run against them then there is no election which is why Ward five  Commissioner Langstaff does not have an election this term," says Elections Supervisor Ginger Nickerson

There are about 11-thousand eligible voters in wards two and three. Early voting will run from October 14th through November 1st.
