VALDOSTA, GA (WALB) -

Valdosta Police are looking for two robbers who pulled a gun on two Valdosta State University students.

Thursday night around 11:00 PM, JaiWon Jang was walking to his apartment on Mary Street when two men pulled a gun and forced him to go to his apartment where they stole two laptops, an x-box, and games.

They then forced Jang walk to an ATM on VSU's campus and take money out of his account.

In the same area Thursday night, John McWilliams says two similar men pulled a gun on him. But he fought back and the men ran off.

"The victim that went to the ATM wasn't injured. I'm not sure how he's doing mentally. The other victim, during the altercation there was some type of scrape to the knee but nothing serious," said Lt. Aaron Kirk, VPD.

The two men are black, both tall and slender, one was a white shirt with long black shorts, and the other was wearing a blue shirt.

If you know anything about them, call Valdosta Police.

Valdosta Police are searching for two men they believe are connected to an armed robbery and another attempted armed robbery.

The robbery happened just after 11 p.m. Thursday night in the 1500 block of North Patterson Street.

According to a report, the victim told officers that two men approached him and pointed a gun at him while he was walking to his apartment. The suspects asked for money, and after finding none, directed the victim to go to an ATM on the campus of Valdosta State University and withdraw cash. The two men took the cash and left.

Officers searched the area and did not find the suspects, but were approached by another man who also said two men came and pulled a gun on him just an hour earlier, asking for money, but did not get any.

Police say the second incident happened in the 1100 block of North Oak Street.

Investigators believe the two crimes are related, and involve the same two people.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Valdosta Police Department at 229-293-3091.
