CORDELE, GA (WALB) -

Crisp County law enforcement was searching for a burglary suspect who escaped, but notified WALB that they had him in custody about 8:30 this morning.

Thursday they issued a bulletin for the public to be on the lookout for 17-year-old Deryan Harvey.

Police did not give us details of his escape. They say he's accused of multiple burglaries.

If you have any helpful information about how Harvey got away, call 229-276-2921.
