ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

An Albany-based music association will celebrate its 7th anniversary with a special event.

The Georgia Music Association will host a Musical Conference and Evangelic Explosion Crusade Friday November 1 at the Albany Municipal Auditorium.

The Association shares and promotes positive and spiritual music. It has about 30 members locally and more than 100 nationwide. They want performers and musicians to join the conference.

"Our members and artist have the best opportunity available to make it in the business of music. Not just here in Albany, but in the state of Georgia, the nation and the world," said Henry Thomas, President of Georgia Music Association.

All types of artists can attend the conference. They will then be featured in the November 23 for the First City Wide and Regional Talent Showcase. Contact Henry Thomas at 229-854-8494.
