With information from the House ofRepresentatives-

 

Ambrose Republican State Representative Chuck Sims joined Governor Nathan Deal, who issued an executive order to offer a reward to anyone with information regarding the murder of Edith Sheffield.

Sheffield's body was found among the ruins on Saturday, January 19, 2013; a day after her home burned. Sheffield's body was not identified until the following Tuesday.

Governor Nathan Deal has offered a $1,000.00 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of the individual or individuals responsible for the murder of Edith Sheffield.

Authorities later determined that Sheffield's death was the result of a homicide.  The Coffee County Sheriff's Department and GBI have no solid leads in the case.

Representative Chuck Sims represents the citizens of District 169, which includes Bacon County and portions of Coffee, and Jeff Davis counties, and was elected in 1996.
