ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Large, yellow signs outside the Piggly Wiggly store in Albany are up, marking the end of the line for the grocery store on Meredyth Drive.

Store workers told customers coming into the store that everything was marked 10 percent off, as more signs in windows echoed the direction, stating "Everything Must Go."

Piggly Wiggly in Albany was one of 43 Belle Foods locations that was up for acquisition after the Alabama-based company filed for bankruptcy last year.

The store has approximately 50 employees. Previous documents showed the store could be closed and liquidated.
