COLQUITT COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

A single vehicle crash on Lower Meigs Road in Colquitt County this morning sent three people to the hospital.

The people were identified as two adults, and a three-year-old child.

GSP Trooper Stewart Parker said the driver was traveling east when he lost control..  The car then struck a mailbox, went across the ditch, and hit a telephone pole, causing wires to be knocked down.

A power company utility crew had to come repair the lines.  All the people in the car were taken to Colquitt Regional Hospital.

The extent of injuries was not known, and the investigation continues.
