ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

If you would like to get up close and personal with wildlife, we've got the perfect event for you this weekend.

Check out the Water, Wings and Wildlife Festival. The annual event at the Flint Riverquarium celebrates South Georgia wildlife.

It includes hands-on and interactive family activities such as building a birdhouse and guided garden tours and presentations featuring all kinds of animals.

"They're of course are going to get an opportunity to see a lot of these birds up close and personal," said Winged Ambassadors Founder Dale Arrowood. "This guy comes from Russia himself. You'll not see this bird anywhere else, with the exception of a few other people."

The festival runs Saturday from 10 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.  Most of the presentations are free with the general festival admission price of $8.50.
