Brooks Co. man charged in step-son's death

BROOKS CO., GA (WALB) -

An autopsy report is pending after investigators say a Brooks County man killed his 3-year-old step-son.

Kevin Richardson, 25, has been charged with murder.

On September 11th authorities were called to 119 Soaring Heights Drive in Brooks County where they found 3-year-old Kayden Edith with injuries.

Edith was taken to South Georgia Medical Center where he later died.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation says the little boy died from injuries received but will not release a cause of death until the autopsy report is completed.
