Children at Moody Air Force Base have a renovated Youth Center to enjoy.
The new center is twice as big and can accommodate twice as many kids.
The 3.5-acre Youth Center underwent $7.5 million worth of renovations.
New expansions include music, dance and art rooms, teen lounges, gaming rooms, a snack bar, a gym, and a playground.
It'll be paid for with Air Force non-appropriated funds.
"We're allowing them to rest easy knowing were taking care of their kids while they're out there doing their job, keeping us all safe. And for the kids they come here before and after school and come and get to hang out in this amazing facility," said Dion Bass, Youth Sports & Fitness Director.
The center will officially open to the Moody community next Monday.
