At his first court appearance, Willie James Bush, listened as Judge John Salter took over a minute to read all the charges that Bush faces.
The 37-year-old Bush was surrounded and captured by the GSP, ADDU, U.S. Marshals, DCP, and Parole officers, Wednesday.
On September 13, the convicted felon led the GSP on a high speed chase and they issued a warrant for him.
Bush is charged with Obstruction or Hindering Law Enforcement Officer, Fleeing or attempting to elude, Reckless Driving, Driving on wrong side of road, Failure to maintain lane, Driving on suspended license, No seatbelt, Failure to Stop for Red Light (four), and Possession of Firearm by a convicted felon.
The Albany Police Department's Criminal Investigations Bureau was already looking for Bush, after an altercation where he fought with Natasha Monique White, who APD says is his ex-girlfriend.
White was injured and she, her children and her sister, Tonya White, where all threatened by Bush. He faces charges of: Terroristic Threats and Acts, Battery, and Theft by Taking.
