Moultrie Pizza Hut shows support for four-year-old with Cancer.

MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

Folks who eat at Pizza Hut in Moultrie on Thursday will help out a good cause.

The restaurant will donate 20 percent of its proceeds to help a 4-year-old boy who has an inoperable brain tumor. People interested just need to mention Jacob's name when they go to eat at the Moultrie Pizza Hut.

The money will help Jacob Martin's family pay for travel and medical expenses. Jacob and his parents, Grant and Lindsey Martin, live in Moultrie, but right now are staying in Atlanta during the week so Jacob can get treatment.

His family says Jacob is doing well, and has almost finished his radiation treatments. They say he still has a long road ahead of him. Soon he will start "chemo-like" treatments called Avastin.

"Through this town and the love and support they have shown and the prayers and God answering those prayers will have gotten through this and he has down remarkable well in his treatment and he's in the middle of radiation right now finishing up next week," say his aunt Sheila Newton.

There will also be a donation jar set up at the Pizza Hut and you can send donations to the Jacob Martin Trust at Ameris Bank.

"We know his family needs the help. We love to reach out to the community. It is part of our "Heart of the Hut ," says Manager Payton Moore.

Jacob just celebrated his 4th  birthday on the 24th. You can also see his facebook HERE:
