Georgia Tech student robbed on 14th Street

ATLANTA (CBS46) -

Atlanta police are investigating after a Georgia Tech student was robbed on 14th Street.

A student reported that he was walking on 14th Street NW headed westbound towards Techwood Drive NW when an unknown man called to him from behind to stop.

When the victim stopped on the Interstate 75/85 overpass, the man pushed him to the ground and demanded his property.

The suspect then ran from the area with the victim's belongings.

The victim was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
