Georgia DOC investigating prisoner's escape

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

More information on Monday night's  prisoner's escape from the Terrell County Correctional Institution.

The Georgia Department of Corrections Agent Squad is investigating. 19-year old Francisco Alberto Arias escaped at 7:27 p.m. Monday night.

The Warden tells us right after Arias attended a church service, he jumped a gate and drove off in a prison work truck. There is video of the escape, but the Department of Corrections won't release it.

Arias was caught less than three hours later in Gwinnett County and has been transferred to another state prison.
