SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

The Sweetfield of Eden Baptist Church held the 1st Annual Pin Point Seafood Festival on Saturday.

The festival highlighted the history of freed slaves from Pin Point who bought and lived off of the land where the community is located.

"Our main objective is to educate people on the history of Pin Point, and let them taste the flavor of Pin Point." said Thomas J. Sills, Bishop & Pastor of Sweetfield of Eden Baptist Church.

The festival also served as a fundraiser for the church and Greenbriar Children's Center.
