SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -

Port Wentworth Police initiated a traffic stop around 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Ga. Hwy 21 around Fries Road. The traffic stop then turned into a high-speed chase when 28 year old Jonathan Isaac Boles of Savannah fled.

The high-speed car chase ended near the Robert B. Miller Jr. Road and Gulfstream Road intersection. Police were able to terminate the car chase with the use of the Pursuit Immobilization Technique (P.I.T.), Boles fled the scene by foot.

Pooler Police and Port Wentworth Police responded to the incident. The type of car was a white Nissan Versa.

Police are seeking the help of the public in locating Jonathan Isaac Boles, who fled from officers on Saturday. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Port Wentworth Police Department at 912.964.4360.
