SAVANNAH, GA (WTOC) -
The 5th annual Cops and Kids Golf Tournament will be held on October 20, 2013 at the King and Prince Golf Course on the St. Simons Island.  The tournament is the primary means of the Fraternal Order of Police Glynn County Lodge #37 to raise money for the "Cops and Kids" program.  Every year, this program raises money to purchase Christmas presents for under privileged children that otherwise would not receive.  Since the lodge first started the program over 30 years ago they have been able to sponsor more children each year.  Last year was their biggest year ever, sponsoring 125 children.

The Glynn County Lodge is asking for your support.  Here are three ways in which you and/or your business can help:
  • HOLE SPONSOR:  Each hole can be sponsored by an individual and/or business.  Your name, or the name of your business, will be displayed on a sign posted near the tee box.  Minimum donation of $100.00.
  • EVENT SPONSOR:  Your name, or the name of your business, will be prominently featured on an event banner displayed at the golf course on the day of the tournament.   Your name, or the name of your business will also be recognized in an ad in the local newspaper. Minimum donation of $200.
  • PRIZE DONATION:  We will award amazing tournament prizes and a raffle.  We will gladly accept any prize related to promoting your business, and it will be given as a tournament or raffle prize.  The donating individual or business will be recognized with each prize.
If you would like more information, or if you would like a meeting with a tournament representative, please call  Marissa Tindale  at 912- 554-7831; Marc Neu at 912-554-7816 or Randall Lacey at 399-4658.
