MARIETTA, GA (CBS46) -

Do you own the stinkiest sneakers around? You could win a cash prize and some fame.

Kids, ages 5-16, can compete Saturday in the Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker Contest at the North Georgia State Fair. Contestants just have to bring their naturally worn and torn sneakers. They'll be judged on the exterior and interior condition, and most importantly, odor!

The winner receives $200, the golden sneaker award, and the opportunity to represent Georgia in the 39th annual National Odor-Eaters Rotten Sneaker Contest. The national winner receives $2500, tickets to a Broadway show, and a year's supply of Odor-Eaters products. The winning shoes will also be enshrined in the Odor-Eaters Hall of Fumes.

The sign-up begins at 2 p.m. at the North Georgia State Fair, located at 2245 Callaway Road in Marietta. The competition begins at 3 p.m.
