School Facebook: Tift High locked down

TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

The Tift County High School Facebook page reports that the school is in lock down.

They stress that no one is in danger.

The say that an unwanted person came to the school and was asked to leave. Law enforcement is searching for him in the area around the school.

The school said that there is no need to go to the school.

THS reports that they will resume normal operations, and students will remain inside until normal dismissal this afternoon.
