17 displaced after morning boarding house fire

ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A fire at a boarding house in Albany has left 17 people displaced Friday morning.

The fire broke just before 5 this morning in a bedroom at the boarding house in the 600 block of Pine Avenue.

Luckily everyone got out ok. It took firefighters about 10 minutes to get the fire under control. It's believed the cause is electrical.

Those displaced range in age from 6 months to 68-years-old.
