EFFINGHAM CO., GA (WTOC) -

Four people were arrested sex offender compliance check operation Thursday in Effingham County.

Shakeia Green, Jason Brown, Corey Garvin and Tony Gordon were arrested as a result of Operation Double Check.

Nearly 30 local, state, local and federal law enforcement officers were involved in the sweep aimed at making sure every offender, their homes and their employment were in compliance with registration requirements.

The suspects arrested face various parole violation-related charges including failure to register, living in another county and another possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
