ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

In case you didn't already know, today, September 19th is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and some restaurants are hoping to pillage some fun by giving away free food.

Big name businesses like Krispy Kreme are offering free doughnuts to people who come in and talk like a pirate, or who dress like a pirate. The Krispy Kreme store in Albany is participating, according to their website.

Moe's Southwest Grill isn't exactly embracing the pirate life, but they are still giving away free queso as a "thank you" to fans at participating restaurants.

This is the 11th year of Talk Like A Pirate Day, which has its own website.
