ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

Gas prices are lower right now in Albany than any metro area in Georgia.

The Murphy's Gas Station at the Walmart on Ledo Road was selling regular unleaded for 3.15 a gallon today.

According to AAA the average price in Albany is $3.20,that's 16-cents lower than the state average and 30-cents lower than the national average.

Drivers are glad to see it. "I think the prices are wonderful, I love to see the low prices, I commute everyday 60 miles one way, 60 miles back and I enjoy gas shopping," said Willie Mae Harris, Motorist.

Earlier this week, triple-A announced the national average has been above 3-dollars a gallon for one thousand consecutive days.
