ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A family-owned store in Moultrie is trying to recover from a costly burglary after their alarm system didn't go off.

Surveillance video at the Celdis Western Wear Store in Moultrie shows two men with their faces covered throwing a brick at the front door around 2 this morning. The two men kick the door in and get inside.

"We'll this morning it was a real shock and I didn't expect it," said employee Jonathan Rojo Dominguez.

The burglars stole several smart phones and watches. One of them got away with a 55 inch screen Television. Dominguez says this is the second time their alarm system has failed to notify them after burglars entered earlier in July. Now they're ready for a change.

"We're disappointed about the alarm company because it's the second time that the alarm doesn't go off and it's just like we're paying for nothing," said Dominguez.

Investigators at the Moultrie Police Department say burglaries and thefts kept them busy this past weekend and now they're asking the public for help.

"If you see anything of a suspicious nature to call us you don't have to meet with the officer," said Investigator David Underwood of the Moultrie Police Department.

The Burglars got away with more than $1200 worth of items. They left out the store's back door and headed toward the apartment complex across the street. Dominguez and his father continue to watch surveillance footage in hopes of identifying the suspects.

"We would like for people to help us get him because if we don't do something fast or we don't do anything right now it will still happen," said Dominguez.

Dominguez says they're in the process of switching alarm companies.
